On March 10, 2023, Hungarology students participating in the facultative art history seminar visited a particularly important collection of fine arts, the Museum of Fine Arts. A key moment in the acquisition of art historical knowledge is for students to see works of art in their original form also. During the museum visit, we dealt with the international and Hungarian aspects of the learnt periods of art history (antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the Baroque). Museum pedagogue gave the group an interactive tour, encouraging them to actively interpret the works of art and engage in conversation in Hungarian.
