On September 7, 2023, 61 students in the Hungarian Language and Hungarian Studies and 35 students in the Hungarian Language and Cultural Studies started the academic year 2023/2024.
The Hungarian Language and Hungarian Studies Programme is open to those who are studying or have studied Hungarian language or Hungarology studies, and intend to deal with Hungarian language and culture in the future. Since the beginning of the training (2002), more than 1000 students from 57 countries have participated in it.
The Hungarian Language and Cultural Studies training aims to strengthen the Hungarian identity of young people of Hungarian origin living in the Diaspora, and they have the opportunity to actively get to know the country and the living Hungarian culture.
At the opening ceremony, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and KKM MDA Kft. (which is responsible for the program operating), greeted the scholarship students.
