Students of the Hungarian Language and Cultural Studies and Hungarology viewed the Budapest-Effect exhibition at the Budapest History Museum as part of the 150th anniversary celebrations of the city’s unification, on November 24, 2023. During the program, they looked for answers to questions such as what Budapest’s identity is, and what Budapest means to the citizens, and they played with ideas about what Budapest smells like, what colour it has or what kind of animal it would be. In the museum, they got to know the city’s past and present through the eyes of city residents, researchers and artists.
