Students from 32 countries came to the Balassi Summer University, which was organised after a two-year gap due to the pandemic.
Balassi Summer University awaits everyone who wishes to learn the Hungarian language and wants to know more about Hungarian culture. Intensive Hungarian language lessons are combined with lectures on Hungarian literature, history, ethnography, fine arts, cinema history, wine culture, etc. in the 4-week programme. The course, which takes place in Budapest, provides an excellent opportunity to introduce participants to the Hungarian cultural heritage, as well as to discover and experience a variety of cultural programmes offered by the Hungarian capital in the summer.
