“We were born to the world to be at home in it somewhere.” (Áron Tamási)
We travelled to Transylvania with the Hungarian language and cultural studies students for a one-week study trip. This tour included in the program is an important stage of the studies.
Due to the excursion, students are also able to visit areas that do not belong to Hungary today but are an important part of our history. Scholarship holders heard a lot about these areas in their classes. Their instructors revealed countless historical and literary aspects to them, and now they could live and experience that even hundreds of kilometres away they can also use the Hungarian language. For students from the diaspora, a cross-border trip is even more personal and valuable.
