In April 2024, our Hungarian Language and Hungarian Studies groups visited the Ludwig Museum’s exhibition called Time Machine. The guided tour, which includes a museum education program, was part of the course on contemporary Hungarian culture.

The works of the exhibition were all related to time, memory, our relationship with the past-present-future, and issues of art and temporality. Most of the exhibited artefacts are works of contemporary Hungarian artists.

The expert introduced the participants not only to the exhibited works but also to the background of their creations. In addition, with the help of interactive, playful tasks, he brought the students closer to the works, which are more difficult to interpret in the traditional way.
