On May 3, 2024, our students visited the National Horse Exhibition in the Museum and Library of Hungarian Agriculture. The exhibition highlighted the important role the horse played in the development of Hungarian history and agriculture. We found out also that horses were indispensable right up to the beginning of the 20th century in warfare, agriculture and transportation. From the end of the 19th century, equestrian sports also became increasingly popular.
