How does university admission take place?

Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders submit an application for the chosen university (s) and major (s) in the second half of the academic year. The application process is coordinated by the Tempus Public Foundation (TKA). Universities take an entrance examination, which can take the form of a written and/or oral examination. In the exams, the knowledge of the Hungarian language and the knowledge of the chosen subject and the related professional Hungarian vocabulary are assessed.
